I received a suspicious e-mail today that says it's from SFI, but I don't think it is. What's going on?

If you receive a suspicious e-mail that says it's from SFI, but you don't think it is, it could be a phishing scam making the rounds to some of our affiliates.

Sometimes, these scams arrive as e-mail purporting to be from our SFI Corporate office. They may claim the recipient's SFI Affiliate account has been suspended or cancelled and encourage the affiliate to click a link within the e-mail or go to a bogus site to fix the "problem."

SUCH E-MAILS ARE NOT FROM US! It is usually just a scam to gain access to your account! SFI NEVER sends messages to Affiliates with embedded links to accounts. All direct SFI correspondence referring to your account information ALWAYS requires you log in first using your own SFI ID and password.

If you receive an e-mail like this, please do NOT click any links contained within it and delete it immediately from your inbox.
